THE FUTURE OF ARCHITECTURE – PRESENTER AKHEEL KHAN

Course information (Content/Overview)
Description: Have you ever wondered how some people, organizations and fields push the boundaries or remain relevant in changing times? First Principles Thinking (FPT) may be the answer: FPT is a method used to rigorously explore the practicality, functionality and necessity of a system when exposed to adverse conditions, thereby revealing only what is crucial to its working. In this workshop, we will discuss why this is necessary in a time where the field of architecture is facing its greatest challenge: remaining relevant.
This is an interactive workshop done as a 2-part series once weekly (2.5hrs each)
Content: The workshop covers the utility of first principles thinking in a time of AI, developing a method for yourself to stay relevant in a time of rapid development, finally creating a reference example of your own which serves as a takeaway from the session.
