SAIBD would like to wish all women a Happy Women’s Month. We would like to honor and appreciate all women in the architectural profession with a Women’s day breakfast where we can gather for an informative talk and breakfast. This is our first of many events that we will host to honour of all females in the Industry. This event is free and CPD accredited.

Guest Speaker: Karuni Naidoo
Karuni Naidoo graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1988 from the University of Natal (now UKZN) and leads CNN Architects, established in 1995.
She was active in the struggles of her community, and continued this in her practice and professional life. She was instrumental in establishing the Women in Architecture initiative within the South African Institute of Architects since 2015, and is the current SAIA Chair: Transformation.
Her advocacy work focusses on transformation, women empowerment & gender equality. She continues to highlight the under-representation of women in a traditionally male dominated architectural profession, and lobby for empowerment and support.
