Computing The Way To A Cooler World Presenter: Pranjal Maheshwari
September 19, 2024 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Description: Dry and humid climates often need mechanical ventilation to regulate buildings internal temperatures. However, when architecture, passive design and computation converge, we can dramatically reduce energy consumption. But does such a solution exist? Say hello to CoolAnt!
This workshop is a 1 day, 2.5 x hour interactive workshop for Category 1 and 3 CPD Points.
Content: CoolAnt is an Artistic, All-Natural, Air Cooling Solution for home, office, commercial buildings, retail and public spaces. In this session we will discuss CoolAnt as a context specific solution, an international product made locally and use cases around the world.
The workshop comes with the first chapter of WWA:FOA for free. Additional to the workshop, it is recommended that participants buy a copy of the WWA:FOA e-book. A free guidebook will be provided to SAIBD members.
