This CPD should help the professional to understand and gain knowledge on roof and truss shapes and design principles and specific exposed trusses and design scope.  This will be done in 5 modules over 5 weeks.

Module 1: Roof Function, Shapes & Terminology

Module 2: Truss Dynamics & Bracing

Module 3: Exposed Trusses, Pinning on Ringbeam

Module 4: Attics, Dormers & Staircases

Module 5: Bay windows, Eaves & Flat roofs
