BUILDING THE FUTURE BY AKHEEL KHAN

Description: Recent developments in our industry have caused an upheaval of the traditional and the conventional method of practising architecture. As the conclusion to the series on the Future of Architecture, building on making AI Accessible and First Principles Thinking, we look at how to reimagine architecture from an informed technological perspective.

This workshop is a 1 day, 2 x hour interactive workshop for Category 1 CPD Points.

Content: The workshop covers a first principles approach to deriving architecture based on rapid technological advancement, discussing the current technologies available as well as their capabilities, ending in finally crafting a plan for yourself toward preparing for the future.

The workshop comes with the first chapter of WWA:FOA for free. Additional to the workshop, it is recommended that participants buy a copy of the WWA:FOA e-book. A free guidebook will be provided to SAIBD members.
